Left-Wing hysteria over ICE deportations highlights Hypocrisy on the Left

I am going to preface this article by stating that I am married to a first-generation immigrant from South America. My wife came here the old fashion way, by applying for a Visa, and then following the legal steps necessary to gain citizenship. In other words, she "waited in line."

This is in far contrast to the millions who were encouraged to come here illegally by the democratic party. They were loured in by easy entry once at the border and then by promises of free transportation to the destination of their choice. Once here, they were given subsidized food and lodging, education for their children and health care. One then may wonder, why the democratic party would support such an effort?

They would tell you that it was done in the name of compassion for those less fortunate than citizens of this country. I can dispel that argument by simply asking you if you think the democrats would adopt the same policy if the visitors were predominately right-leaning politically? 

What we have here is a conspiracy on the part of democrats to garner political power not by the traditional means of articulating their vision to sway voters. Rather, it is in contrast an un-democratic power grab meant to steal democracy away from the hands of traditional Americans. They don't like the attitude of traditional Americans so they have sought out a way to cancel them by bringing in untraditional folks.

It doesn't matter that non-citizens can't vote, they still represent a voting block since their sheer numbers sway representation in Congress. Also, they are just one generation away from their children born here becoming citizens with the right to vote.

Now that the deed has been done and millions of non-citizens were let into our country by the Biden administration, those on the left are fighting tooth and nail to keep them here. Thus, you see the attack on US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Everyone would agree that it is not in the best interest of any of us to have undocumented criminals in our country, but democratic elected officials refuse to cooperate with ICE in their efforts to remove such individuals, presumably because it sets a bad precedent for other less-nefarious individuals to be removed as well.

The hypocrisy here is that about all you hear from the democratic party and those on the left is they are the defenders of democracy by opposing the Trump administration and their authoritarian methods. The truth is there is nothing more authoritarian than inviting in millions of non-citizens to achieve your political objectives. That is the true assault on our democracy. Democrats are seeking to cancel the will of traditional Americans by flooding the country with non-citizens. Their attempt to install a non-traditional socialist leaning government that most of us have no interest in by such nefarious means is the true assault on our democracy.
